Client Service Agreement

This Client Service Agreement governs the provision of services by Written Aim to clients who request the preparation of firearm licence motivation documents.
By making use of the Written Aim platform or purchasing any services from Written Aim, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms contained in this agreement.
1. Description of Services
Written Aim provides a document preparation service designed to assist firearm licence applicants in compiling structured motivation documents for submission with firearm licence applications.
The Written Aim platform allows clients to submit information through an online form. The system then generates a structured motivation document based on the information supplied by the client.
Written Aim does not provide legal advice and does not act as a legal representative for firearm licence applicants.
2. Scope of Service
The Written Aim service is limited to the preparation of structured motivation documents based on information supplied by the client.
Written Aim does not act as a legal advisor, legal representative, or intermediary between the client and the licensing authority.
The client is responsible for submitting their firearm licence application to the relevant authority and for ensuring that all supporting documentation required by the licensing authority is included with the application.
3. Professional Services Description
Written Aim provides a structured document preparation service designed to assist firearm licence applicants in compiling professional motivation documents for submission with firearm licence applications.
The Written Aim service includes the following components:
- generation of a structured firearm licence motivation document based on information submitted by the client
- automated formatting and organisation of the information into a professional document structure
- inclusion of relevant sections typically required for firearm licence motivations
- preparation of the document in a format suitable for submission with firearm licence applications
The Written Aim service does not include:
- legal advice regarding firearm licensing
- legal representation in firearm licence applications
- direct communication with licensing authorities
- verification of information supplied by the client
- guarantees regarding the approval of firearm licence applications
Clients remain solely responsible for reviewing the generated document and ensuring that the information submitted is accurate before submitting their firearm licence application.
All firearm licence applications are evaluated solely by the relevant authorities in accordance with the provisions of the Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000.
4. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to provide information that is accurate, truthful, and complete.
The client is responsible for reviewing the generated motivation document before submitting it with their firearm licence application.
Written Aim relies entirely on the information provided by the client and does not independently verify the accuracy or completeness of the information submitted.
5. Applicant Declarations
The client confirms that all information submitted to Written Aim is true, accurate, and complete to the best of their knowledge.
The client acknowledges that any false, misleading, or inaccurate information supplied by the client may negatively affect their firearm licence application.
Written Aim accepts no responsibility for any consequences arising from inaccurate or misleading information supplied by the client.
The client accepts full responsibility for the accuracy of all information contained in the generated motivation document.
6. Automated Document Generation
Motivation documents generated through the Written Aim platform are created automatically based on the information provided by the client.
Written Aim does not manually draft each motivation document and does not independently validate the information provided by the client.
The client acknowledges that the document is generated through an automated system.
7. No Guarantee of Licence Approval
Written Aim provides document preparation assistance only.
The use of the Written Aim platform does not guarantee the approval of any firearm licence application.
All firearm licence applications are evaluated solely by the relevant authorities in accordance with the provisions of the Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000.
Approval or rejection of firearm licence applications is determined entirely by the South African Police Service.
Written Aim provides document preparation assistance only and does not influence the decision of the licensing authority.
8. Limitation of Liability
Written Aim shall not be liable for any loss, damages, or claims arising from:
- rejected firearm licence applications
- incorrect information supplied by the client
- incomplete information supplied by the client
- delays in processing by licensing authorities
- decisions made by the South African Police Service
The client accepts full responsibility for the information submitted through the Written Aim platform.
9. Client Review of Documents
The client is responsible for reviewing the generated motivation document before submission.
Written Aim is not responsible for errors or omissions that originate from information supplied by the client.
10. Payment Terms
Services provided by Written Aim may require payment before the motivation document is generated or delivered.
Once the document has been generated or delivered, the service is considered completed.
Payments made for completed services are non-refundable.
11. Intellectual Property
All templates, document structures, and system processes used by Written Aim remain the intellectual property of Written Aim.
Clients are granted permission to use the generated motivation document solely for their firearm licence application.
12. Misuse of Service
Clients agree not to misuse the Written Aim platform or submit false information.
Written Aim reserves the right to refuse service where misuse is suspected.
13. Amendments
Written Aim reserves the right to update or modify this Client Service Agreement at any time.
Updated versions will be published on the Written Aim website.
14. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes arising from the use of the Written Aim platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
