For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
“Written Aim” refers to the business operating the website writtenaim.co.za and providing firearm licence motivation preparation services.
“Client” refers to any individual who uses the Written Aim platform to generate firearm licence motivation documents.
“Service” refers to the generation of firearm licence motivation documents based on information submitted by the client.
“Website” refers to the Written Aim website located at www.writtenaim.co.za.
2. Description of Service
Written Aim provides a document preparation service designed to assist firearm licence applicants in preparing structured motivation documents.
The service allows clients to submit information through online forms, after which the platform generates a formatted motivation document based on the information provided.
Written Aim does not provide legal advice and does not act as a legal representative for firearm licence applicants.
3. Client Responsibility
The client is solely responsible for ensuring that all information submitted through the Written Aim platform is:
- accurate
- truthful
- complete
- legally compliant
Written Aim does not verify the accuracy of information submitted by the client.
The client must review the generated motivation document before submitting it to the licensing authority.
4. Automated Document Generation
Written Aim uses automated systems to generate firearm licence motivation documents.
The generated document is created entirely from the information submitted by the client.
Written Aim does not independently verify or validate the information provided.
The client accepts full responsibility for reviewing the generated document before submitting it to the relevant authority.
5. No Guarantee of Licence Approval
Written Aim provides document preparation assistance only.
Written Aim does not guarantee that any firearm licence application will be approved.
All firearm licence applications are evaluated solely by the licensing authority under the provisions of the Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000.
Approval or rejection of applications is determined entirely by the South African Police Service and is outside the control of Written Aim.
6. Limitation of Liability
Written Aim shall not be liable for any loss, damages, costs, or claims arising from:
- rejection of firearm licence applications
- incorrect or incomplete information submitted by the client
- delays in processing applications by government authorities
- decisions made by the South African Police Service
- errors resulting from information supplied by the client
Use of the Written Aim service is entirely at the client’s own risk.
7. Indemnity
The client agrees to indemnify and hold Written Aim harmless against any claims, liabilities, damages, or legal costs arising from:
- incorrect information submitted by the client
- misuse of generated documents
- firearm licence applications submitted by the client
- decisions made by licensing authorities
8. Payment and Fees
Certain services provided by Written Aim may require payment.
Where payment is required, the client must complete payment before access to certain services or documents is granted.
Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable once the service has been delivered.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Written Aim website, including:
- templates
- document structures
- system processes
- branding
- website content
remains the intellectual property of Written Aim.
Clients may use generated documents only for the purpose of their firearm licence application.
10. Website Use
Users of the Written Aim website agree not to:
- submit false or misleading information
- attempt to interfere with the operation of the website
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to system data
- use the service for unlawful purposes
11. Service Availability
Written Aim makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the website and services remain available.
However, the website may be unavailable from time to time due to:
- maintenance
- technical issues
- system upgrades
- circumstances beyond the control of Written Aim
Written Aim shall not be liable for interruptions in service availability.
12. Third-Party Services

Written Aim is not responsible for the policies or actions of such third-party service providers.
